Certified Restorative/Nursing Aide - Medical/Surgical - Day Shift
Position: Certified Restorative/Nursing Aide - Day Shift
Location: Columbus, NC

St. Luke’s Hospital has a new opportunity for an experienced restorative aide to our medical/surgical department! Our hospital is one of very few critical access hospitals in the country that earned 5-Stars in patient satisfaction from CMS in 2020 and we need YOU to help us get to the next level! In this role, you will be part of a progressive team dedicated to advancing the goals of the hospital, meeting the needs of our rural community, and providing outstanding care to our patients. Essential Functions:
- Under the direction and supervision of the RN, organizes and provides basic nursing care for patients and their families.
- Assists with admission, transfer, and/or discharge of patients by transporting, lifting and positioning patients while following necessary safety precautions.
- Contributes to the development of the patient's plan of care under the direction of the nurse.
- Assist patient with duties including but not limited to: giving baths, ambulation, feeding patients, bathing patients.
- Assists in maintaining a safe, clean and orderly patient and unit area. Identifies and removes any patient hazards to prevent injury to staff or patient.

Required Knowledge, skills and abilities (not an inclusive list)
1. High School diploma or GED preferred.
2. Must be listed on the N.C. State Registry as a current Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing.
3. BLS certification required.

Day or night shift available.
