Registered Nurse - Full-Time Nights: Emergency Department

Sign on bonus $10,000

St. Luke’s Hospital has a new opportunity for an experienced Emergency Room Nurse! Our hospital is one of very few critical care hospitals in the country that earned 5-Stars in patient satisfaction from CMS in 2020 and we need YOU to help us get to the next level! In this role, you will be part of a progressive team dedicated to advancing the goals of the hospital, meeting the needs of our rural community, and providing outstanding care to our patients. At St. Luke’s, we ALL make a difference!

Essential Functions:
-Provides direct patient care, evaluated outcomes, consults with other specialists as required and adjusts nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient care.

-Maintains current knowledge of medications and their correct administration based on age of the patient and his/her clinical condition.

-Demonstrates the ability to assist physicians with procedures in the Emergency Department.

Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
1. Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina
2. Minimum of one-year clinical experience preferred.
3. Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NCI certification with TNCC preferred.
