Registered Nurse - Full-time - Evening/Nights Emergency Dept.
Position: Registered Nurse - Emergency Dept.
Location: Columbus, NC

St. Luke’s Hospital has a new opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse! Our hospital is one of very few critical care hospitals in the country that earned 5-Stars in patient satisfaction from CMS in 2020 and we need YOU to help us get to the next level! In this role, you will be part of a progressive team dedicated to advancing the goals of the hospital, meeting the needs of our rural community, and providing outstanding care to our patients. At St. Luke’s, we ALL make a difference!

Essential Functions:
a. Utilize the nursing process in the provision of nursing care including but not limited to: administering treatments and medications in compliance with the physician’s orders and applicable hospital policy.
b. Demonstrate the knowledge of the principles of growth and development through the life span, possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status, and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient’s needs in relation to age.
c. Document observations and activities related to patient care following approved nursing process specific to the nursing unit.

Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
1.Graduate of an accredited school of nursing progressive/ICU experience preferred.
2.Appropriate licensure to the state of North Carolina and certification for the position at St. Luke's.
3.BLS and ACLS required within 30 days of employment; PALS preferred.
