The DAISY Award is given to a nurse recognized for providing exceptional clinical skill, compassion, and kindness to our patients and their families. We honor the super-human work our nurses do every day in whatever role they serve through

Each DAISY Award recipient receives "The Healer's Touch" sculpture. According to the DAISY Foundation, "The Healer's Touch" sculpture represents the bond between nurses and their patients. Signed by artists of the Shona Tribe in Zimbabwe, the sculptures are hand-carved from Serpentine mineral rock.
