St. Luke's Hospital Tracks Quality Care and Patient Satisfaction
At St. Luke's Hospital, our patients come first. Part of our commitment to those who turn to us for care is that we adhere to practices and protocols that have been proven to ensure the best outcome for patients.
To ensure patient safety, we follow National Patient Safety Goals as defined by The Joint Commission (TJC), the agency that inspects hospitals and other providers to ensure that they are meeting stringent requirements to provide high quality healthcare. St. Luke's is fully accredited by The Joint Commission.
To improve patient care, we follow protocols for four core measures, defined by the Centers of Medicare/Medicaid (CMS). And to meet our patients' satisfaction, we utilize the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey also defined by CMS.
In addition to surveying our inpatients, we also survey patients who have accessed our Emergency, Radiology and Rehabilitation Departments, or our Lab. From patients' comments about their experiences, we are able to continually improve our services and provide excellent care.
St. Luke's Hospital compares favorably with other providers that are much larger and impersonal. Thanks to your support, we continue to provide exceptional care, close to home.
